Cool style and hot protection are combined in SABRE's most popular product. This attractive, pink compact pepper spray delivers a strong balistic stream to reduce wind blow back. Providing extremely practical protection, SABRE permits distance from your threat with its ten (10) foot range, and its quick release key ring and attachment clip ensure its accessible when needed! Help fight breast cancer as sales of this product support the National Breast Cancer Foundation! Size: 1/2 oz. Item not available to ship to DC, Hawaii, Massachusetts, or New York.

Stay safe regardless of the situation with this Sabre pink pepper spray keychain. The most popular Sabre style, the 0.54-ounce pepper spray offers a quick-release design, producing a powerful ballistic stream that reduces wind blowback by about 8 to 10 feet. As a result, you can reliably protect yourself in unfamiliar or dangerous neighborhoods and situations. The detachable keychain, meanwhile, gives you immediate access to your defense spray when unlocking a door or driving a car. Best of all, Sabre makes a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) with each purchase of a pink pepper spray unit. The pepper spray canister--which is a breeze to carry--includes approximately 25 shots. Sabre products are used by the New York Police Department, U.S. Marshalls, and thousands of police departments worldwide.

I bought this pepper spray because I have always wanted one.............and I love the pretty pink color! I dont know if it works yet, and I hope I never have to find out! But I feel safer just carrying it.

Just for protective measure

I bought this item for my mother and my girlfriend...hopefully they wont have to use this product ever but living in the city you can never be too protective...Its great for the peace of mind it brings and for the support of breast cancer research...

Good for peace of mind

I got this for my gal who was worried walking around the big city.

Well, we haven't had to use it on anyone - so who's to say it works!?

It's bigger than you'd expect. It has a little fold-out switch you would press down on to spray it. Comes with an extra keychain thing so you can unclip it. That is a bit of a challenge to operate but - well, at least it's there.

Peace of Mind

I wanted to wait until I actually had to use this product before I posted a review. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it, but I thought I should post a review anyway, simply because the unit does deserve some praise.
Many customers object to the color, but I am a girly girl to the bone and I love it. I live in a great neighborhood, but I like to run and I tend to do it after dark. With this unit and my dog, I feel pretty secure. The ONLY thing that could make it perfect for me would be if it also came with one of those spiral wrist keychains that they have at the bank to keep their keys on their wrists. I only carry it when I'm using it, so I don't have it dangling from my car keys. If I'm under attack, I don't want to take the chance of dropping it if I'm taken by surprize, so the wrist key ring would be perfect.

Otherwise, it is so great. I took it out to investigate a noise in the house at night when my husband was away. I felt sure that I could be as much as a surprise to a would-be intruder as he would be to me if I had to blind him and give him a quick boot to the head. Not sure what kinda penalty would come if I actually had to defend myself with it, but I'm pretty sure I'd be willing to risk it.

WARNING: The safety is helpful to ward against accidental firing, but is just *barely* effective. Any 2 year old could disengage it, so keep it away from very small children.

Be careful if you're carrying this around!

I bought this for use on stray animals (because I run a lot) and on predatory humans. The fact that it had a keychain adaptor made me think this was good to carry around but the safety lock is not very good. I actually keep this in a ziplock bag in my purse b/c I don't want it to accidentally go off on me.
